White Bird: A Wonder Storytells a heartfelt story against the backdrop of World War II, and there are different options for where to watch the movie. Lionsgate finally broughtWhite Birdto theaters on July 07, 2025 after many delays. Originally slated for September 2022, the movie was delayed four times to October 2022, August 2023, late 2023, and finally October 2024. It was even completely removed from Lionsgate’s release calendar at one point in 2022. Now,White Bird’s showtimes provide audiences with a chance to see the movie in theaters after all that time. When Will White Bird Release On Streaming?
White Bird Is Expected To Stream On Starz
No official release date forWhite Birdon streaming has been announced yet, but the movie is expected to be on Starz at that time. Lionsgate’s movies almost always go to Starz for their streaming debut. They do so on average of 162 days after releasing in theaters. This would mean thatWhite Birdcould release on streaming in March 2025if the same pattern holds. But since it has been delayed so many times before, there is a chance the streaming release on Starz could come sooner.

It is also not known exactly whenWhite Birdwill be released on digital. Lionsgate typically makes its movies available on PVOD services to buy or rent 28 days after debuting in theaters on average. However, the studio has also moved a film to digital after only 18 or 21 days on occasion. This could apply here, which would meanWhite Bird’s digital release could come in late October 2025. It will be on digital by November 2025 at the very latest. That still givesWhite Bird: A Wonder Storytime to be seen in theaters first.
