Beyond text responses, Character AI lets you give your characters a voice of your choice. you may select from a range of available voices or record a voice you’d like it to clone.
To give your character a voice, tap the waveform icon on the top right of your chat page and then select or record your preferred voice.
Giving your character a voice makes the Character AI experience much more fun, especially when chatting with educational characters like HyperGlot, which helps you learn new languages.
Character AI is available on web and mobile apps, but the voice feature is only available on the mobile app version.
2. Voice Cloning
You can create a clone of your voice in Character AI in just four taps (three if you don’t count the permission pop-up that comes up occasionally). Honestly, there isn’t much utility for your cloned voice on the app at the time of writing this. However, it’s easy to see how the feature could be made more valuable. Making it atext-to-speech toolthat reads in your voice seems like a natural evolution path for the feature.
Currently, you can only use your cloned voice, which is the voice the characters respond to you with. You can also make your voice public for other users to use for free.

3. Character Creation
Character AI allows you to contribute to making the platform even better by creating your character. you may base characters on anything from anime characters and historical figures to “Helpers,” like The Interviewer and Tony Fitness Coach.
Creating a character is simple. Tap theCreatebutton on the homepage, selectCharacter, and customize to your preference.
You can make your character Public, Unlisted, or Private. You can also add a character definition to give your character a personality separate from others on the platform.

Is Character AI Safe?
Yes, Character AI is safe to use; it’s similar to other social media platforms. A read through itsPrivacy Policyshows that Character AI uses “standard data collection” (device and usage information, cookies, pixel tags, etc.) to help develop its service, which is what you’d expect.
Character AI chats are not encrypted, so you should be mindful of what you share on them. However, its Privacy Policy declares that “[It] may use and disclose de-identified or aggregated data for any purpose, including without limitation for research and marketing purposes.”
