Shared on X by @DBSKAKERU1 (Kakeru), Trunks is depicted dual-wielding Z Swords. While the character has been seen training with a Z Sword inDragon Ball Super, similar to the way Gohan has, he hasn’t reached the same mastery as Goku’s son. Gohan’s appearance in traditional Kaioshin fashion is very impressive and memorable.
This art shows just how incredible Trunks could look in the same traditional costuming but having achieved Ultimate level mastery. It also puts a twist by allowing him to dual-wield, improving on his signature weapon style.

Though the Z Sword wasn’t very highly thought of by Gohan during his time training with it, the weapon actually served as a great boost to him. It increased his strength significantly and, paired with the Kaioshin garment style, gave him one of his best looks.Gohan and Trunkshave often been allies, though the two have had very different paths in attaining their improved abilities. They also have differing fighting styles, which is reflected in their alternate journeys. Gohan’s natural inclination is not to use a sword, whereas Future Trunks is often seen with his signature blade.
Trunks' mastery of swords is also exemplified in his use of the Sword of Hope inDragon Ball Superepisode 66, “Showdown! The Miraculous Power of Unyielding Warriors.” This Saiyan doesn’t need an Ultimate form to be a truly fearsome sword wielder. However, donning garb similar to the Kaioshin’s attire definitely upgrades his look brilliantly.Trunks has had numerous costumes, which showcase his abilities, timeline alterations, and power improvements. Trunks is a very powerful Saiyan, capable of excellent hand-to-hand combat, Saiyan skills, and sword-wielding. This allows him a variety of ways to handle the foes he comes up against in the various timelines in which he is a major player.
