In a recent interview withStar Wars Explained, Headland teases thatThe Acolyteepisode 8 has an Easter egg that was quite a “challenge” to include.
While the creator doesn’t provide any hints about what this Easter egg could be, she does reveal that it was especially important for her to get it into the episode. Check out her comment below:
“My main thing that I really wanted to do in the show I got to do in episode 8. And that was the one that I think proved to be the biggest challenge in conversation, and I was very glad I got to do them.”

Another plot point inThe Acolyteepisode 7 which could be connected to the episode 8 Easter egg is the reveal that Osha and Mae (Amandla Stenberg) were artificially created. Aniseya (Jodie Turner-Smith) essentially split a single consciousness into two bodies, which begs for further exploration.
