Pokémon GO Fest 2024 Day 1 Raid Schedule
Know The Difference Between Raid Types
Throughout the event, there will bethree different types of Raids-One-Star Raids, Three-Star Raids, andFive-Star Raids. The One-Star Raids feature slightly easier Pokémon to capture, but these creatures exist as variations of normal creatures. Taking down the easiestRaids in July 2024 forPokémon GOwill allow you to get Pokémon with unique accessories exclusive to the Fest event.
All Raid Boss Pokémon during Day 1 appear from 10 AM until 6 PM without any limit to Remote Raids in any capacity. This means you can challenge each Raid as many times as you want during this portion of the event.

Three-Star Raids are incredibly similar, albeit with stronger Pokémon that may take more effort to defeat. However, the most challenging Raids unsurprisingly belong to the Five-Star battles, which feature incredibly rare Legendary Pokémon. No matter what Raid you encounter, you have to be prepared to bring a team that can exploit a Pokémon’s weaknesses that exist because of its elemental typing.
Dark, Ghost, Ground, Rock, Water
Swampert, Gengar, Tyranitar, Kyogre, Rampardos
All of these Raid Pokémon have existed in the game already and will be part of the new boss rotation included within the Fest 2024 event. Unlike when you fight enemy Trainers, such as the criminal leaderGiovanni from Team Rocket, each Raid Pokémon exists as one wave of battle. Keep in mind that the Raid form of a pocket monster is still far stronger than the ace on any enemy Trainer’s team.

The time of day or location does not seem to matter as you approach different Raid Bosses, as this aspect ofPokémon GO’s habitat system only seems to affect which regular wild Pokémon spawn. During this day, you’re able to alsocollect Special Research regarding one of the new Raid Pokémon, the ultra-rare Legendary Necrozma. This Psychic-type makes its debut in the game with Raids that occur on both days of the event.
