The full lineup of cards for the upcomingPokémon Trading Card GamecollectionEx Starter Deck Generationshas been revealed, including 90 brand-new cards. The deck collection will place a spotlight on everyPokémongeneration introduced so far, with a deck corresponding to each generation’s characters and setting.
PokéBeachhas revealed all 175 cards from theEx Starter Deck Generationspack that are scheduled to launch on November 22 in Japan. Although about half of the entries will be reprints of existing cards, thereveal includes over 90 brand-new cards.TheGenerationsdecks consist of nine different decks, each one focused on a certain Gen ofPokémon. Each deck will also have the Professor and Black Belt Trainer designs that correspond to that generation’s characters, meaning there arenine different versions of both Supporters.

Another welcome surprise is the inclusion of a stunning new card for Aromatisse, making thisonly the fifth time that the Pokémon has appeared in theTCG.

Since each deck in the upcomingPokémon TCGdecks focuses on one generation at a time,the list of new cards includes a few regional variations.Among these are several new Alolan cards, including Alolan Marowak, Geodude, Graveler, and Golem, and a Galarian variation of Stunfisk. The Paldean variants of Wooper and Clodsire also make an appearance with new art, with Paldean Clodsire starring as one ofthat generation’s ex cards.
Each deck also has gorgeous artworks and cover designs that show off the unique setting of each of the generations. Each deck cover sports the two ex Pokémon included in that deck, like Pikachu and Snorlax for gen 1. TheEx Starter Deck Generationscard collections for thePokémon Trading Card Gamewill be available later this month in Japan. In the West, the cards will likely be released in January, alongside thePrismatic Evolutionscard set.
