What Happened In Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode #3?
Episode #3 Delves Into the Dark Side of Being a Manga Artist Through Abiko
Season 2 episode #3 ofOshi no Kobegins by finally checking back in with B-Komachi, specifically Ruby, who is seen talking to her classmates about work. After hearing how busy her classmates are Ruby storms to Miyako begging for more work. Unfortunately, Miyako reveals that B-Komachi hasn’t been very active as of late since Kana has been occupied with the stage play. Just then Kana arrives and reveals that rehearsals have been put on indefinite hold due to the recent issues over the script.
Meanwhile, Aqua and Akane are seen going on a date to see a stage-around play. Though he has his initial doubts, Aqua quickly discovers his misconceptions about theater and is shocked by the performance as well as by how modern technology is being used to resolve many of the pitfalls associated with stage plays, such as the changing of sets. Surprisingly, this seems to awaken a sense of enthusiasm in Aqua about his role inTokyo Blade.

After the play, Aqua and Akane come across Raida (the lead producer of theTokyo Bladeplay) who reveals the play they just watched was also written by Goa. Aqua then comes to the realization that Abiko may have the same misconceptions about theater as he did and may not be able to write the screenplay to make the most of the stage and technology like Goa. Thus, Aqua comes up with a mysterious plan to try and resolve the situation.
The episode then cuts to Aqua, Kana, Akane, and Melt visiting Yoriko, the author ofSweet Todayand Abiko’s mentor and friend. After spending some time with the author, the group asks Yoriko to try and convince Abiko on the matter of the screenplay. Unfortunately, Yoriko claims she cannot persuade Abiko but pays her a visit either way.

Yoriko ends up helping Abiko finish a deadline through the night and while the two get into a heated argument, they also come to an understanding in the process as Abiko opens up about the stress she is under as a best-selling weekly author. The episode ends with Abiko going to see a play with the tickets Yoriko gave her on Aqua’s behalf.
Oshi no Ko Season 2 Episode #4 Will Hopefully See Abiko Cooperate With Goa
While Yorriko may not have been able to convince Abiko to compromise, hopefully watching a play will change Abiko’s perspective just like Aqua. It is clear that Goa excels at what he does as a screenwriter and episode #4 will hopefully see Abiko acknowledge his talent after seeing his work for herself.
Season 2 episode #4 ofOshi no Kowill hopefully see Abiko working together with Goa to rework the script, hopefully resolving the communication issues presented in earlier episodes that made it impossible for Goa to understand Abiko’s wishes. That said, it will likely still be a challenging task to adaptTokyo Bladeto the stage while staying true to the original work and still making the most of the stage.

Even if the two do manage to come up with a decent script, having lost so much precious rehearsal time, it is still left to be seen whether the actors will be able to adjust to the new script in time. All the same, season 2 ofOshi no Koholds plenty of exciting developments ahead.
Don’t missOshi no Koseason 2 episode #4 when it airs on HIDIVE on July 01, 2025.
