Summary

New fan-made images have emerged that perfectly illustrate theMCU’s Phase 5 and 6 releases. This year’s San Diego Comic-Con came with a few bombastic revelations, not least of which being thepivot toAvengers: DoomsdayfromAvengers: The Kang Dynasty, and the return of both the Russo brothers andRobert Downey Jr. to the MCU. New footage was also revealed for a fewupcoming MCU releases, though Marvel’s Hall H panel did not clarify anything concerning projects that have yet to receive official release dates.

The image follows the same style as those typically released by Marvel Studios when announcing the upcoming release slate. Though the studio did not reveal such a graphic at this year’s SDCC, the creator of these fan-made images was right to point out that the D23 Expo is coming up in just over one week, from August 9–11. This event will likely provide a little more information regarding official MCU release dates and changes.

The culmination of phases 4, 5, and 6 of the MCU will be in Avengers: Secret Wars. Here’s everything to know about the sixth Avengers movie.

What Movies & Shows Could Be Announced For MCU Phase 6

As the images posted above illustrate, MCU Phase 6 still looks particularly sparse, despite MCU Phase 5 drawing to a close withThunderbolts*next summer. Nevertheless, there are still plenty of confirmed MCU projects that have yet to receive release dates.Postponing these until after what might bea soft reboot within the MCUinAvengers: Secret Warsseems unlikely, which means they are more likely to debut in MCU Phase 6.

Wonder Man

Show

Marvel Zombiescould feasibly still debut in MCU Phase 5, given the original release date was slated for 2024, though the release window continues to shift and is currently up in the air. Projects such asArmor WarsandIronhearthave also been in development for several years at this point, meaning a release date announcement is practically inevitable although less likely to occur in MCU Phase 5. Solo Vision and Nova shows, meanwhile, were recently confirmed to be in development and will likely precedeAvengers: Secret Wars.

While it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet,Doctor Strange 3is also highly likely to arrive in MCU Phase 6 due to the eponymous hero’s proximity to the multiverse and how central the motif will be toAvengers: Secret Wars.Thor 5, meanwhile, was teased by theThor: Love and Thunderpost-credits scene, suggesting that it, too, could be on the cards forMCUPhase 6. Whatever the case, the D23 Expo will likely be where more information finally comes to light.
