Captain America Reveals the Deadly Weakness of Iron Man’s Original Armor

Captain America Lost His Home, Not His Time
Steve Has Always Been On The Move
As Lyra points out, even before Cap became a super soldier and was frozen for decades,Steve Rogers himself had already lost practically everything. Having lost his parents, his health, and his home, the only thing left for Captain America to fight forwas his country. It was this purpose that became his home – only for him to end up losing it all over again when he woke up decades later in a world he no longer recognized. And while his battleground and mission parameters may have changed since his awakening in the present, his battle lives on.
Captain America may feel like a Man Without A Home, but he’s always fought to ensure the freedom and safety of those in need no matter the time period.

In modern times, Captain America has found plenty of family, be it Sharon Carter, his fellow Avengers, or his old friend Bucky Barnes a.k.a. the Winter Soldier. But he’s still ultimately been searching for that home for which he always fought, and Lyra herself says as much. In that sense,Captain America has never truly been a Man Out of Timeso much as he’s been a Man Without A Home. And though this layer adds even more pain to the history of Steve Rogers, it makeshis dedication to the Captain America mantleeven more impactful – and more tragic.
Steve Rogers Is Still Searching For Home
Captain America’s Always Been Out Of Time
Captain America may feel like a Man Without A Home, but he’s always fought to ensure the freedom and safety of those in need, no matter the time period. Ultimately, Steve’s dedication to his mission is at least partially shaded by his own internal inability to be at peace, a feeling that he’s never been able to reclaim the home he feels he lost. But at the very least,Captain Americahas lived in the 21st century long enough that he’s no longer the Man Out of Time.
Captain America #11is on sale now from Marvel Comics.
Captain America
Initially debuting in 1940, Captain America is the patriotically themed superhero who has shared the title with only a few individuals. Beginning with Steve Rogers, Captain America’s birth resulted from a frail man taking part in an experimental U.S. Army super-soldier trial, which imbued him with super-human abilities. The character is often depicted wielding a nigh unbreakable and aerodynamic shield made of vibranium that they use to defend and attack their foes.
