Officially announced by Wizards of the Coast,Magic: The Gathering’sBloomburrowset will release on August 16, 2025. Woodland Frames are fairy tale-inspired treatments, while the full-art seasonal basic lands are groups of 4 of each basic that depict summer, fall, winter, and spring on the plane. Borderless Field Notes are designed to look like classic journal drawings of wildlife researchers, while special guests are extended-art depictions of cards outside of the main set. Extended-art is what it sounds like - a borderless treatment of an art that’s already found within the set. Imagine: Courageous Critters are re-interpretations of classic planeswalkers and creatures fromMagic’s past, turned into anthropomorphic depictions of themselves in line withBloomburrow’s aesthetic.
Finally, the Borderless Raised Foil Anime treatment is a collection that pulls from each other element of Booster Fun, with 11 legends from theBloomburrowset, 5 Imagine: Courageous Critterscards, 4 Commander face cards, and 1 main set planeswalker (Ral) all receiving unique art and foiling.
