There’s no reason Marvel can’t explore Kingpin’s new demonic form on screen, especially within the context of the religious themes of the originalBorn Againstoryline.
Daredevil will be returning to TV with theupcoming television showDaredevil: Born Again, which will be the first time Daredevil is officially part of the MCU. His previous show only made vague references and, by and large, werefar more grounded. Because Daredevil will be in this new fantastical world, he’ll be able to have more absurd stories. In the MCU, there are tons of demons – this is an established fact of the film canon – andgiving Kingpin this demonic upgrade could be just what the on-screen version of the villain needs to finally defeat Matt Murdock.

Marvel has already shown they’re willing to make Kingpin more comic book-like in the MCU, as during his appearance in theHawkeyeTV show, Kingpin’s strength was upgraded to ridiculous levels. He was capable of tearing a car door off with his bare hands, and was durable enough to take an explosive arrow to the chest. This was a far cry from his morerealistic feats of strength in the originalDaredevilshow. There’s no reason Marvel can’t explore Kingpin’s new demonic form on screen, especially within the context of the religious themes of the originalBorn Againstoryline.
