Everything To Expect From Peacock’s Teacup TV Show
Teacupwill be airing eight, 30-minute episodes over the span of a month, releasing two episodes weekly starting October 10 before the series ends on Halloween. While there are plenty ofhorror movies on Peacock, this new TV show from Wan and McCulloch promises a much different experience than anything that’s been aired on the platform before. In particular, the wider scope ofStingeris being parsed down to a smaller area, indicating plenty of other changes to the source material can be expected as the story unfolds.
The new images from the show are foreboding, as they don’t reveal what terrifying events the characters are going to face. Instead, they focus on establishing the mood of the series, which has been described by McCulloch as a horror thriller with sci-fi elements. These new photos highlight this as a key part of the show, with everything from a character wearing a gas mask to a mysterious woman in the woods. There also appear to be several families involved, showing the wider impact of the scenario about to unfold.

Every James Wan Horror Franchise Ranked From Worst To Best
Director James Wan recently returned to horror with Malignant, but here’s a look at how the three prior horror franchises he created stack up.
Given Wan’s propensity for being attached to successful horror projects,Teacupwill likely be just as terrifying as many of horror movies he’s known for, likeInsidiousandThe Conjuring. Because of how mysterious the series still is, there’s plenty left to be revealed as the release date for the first episodes creeps closer. With the series having the perfect airing window of October, this could become a key success for Peacock during the Halloween season.

Executive producer E.L. Katz (The Haunting of Bly Manor) will be directing the first episode.
