Turn Off Order Notifications in the Alexa App

If you want to turn off order notifications from Alexa, the easiest way is within the Alexa app (available foriOSandAndroid). To get started, open the Alexa app and tapMore, thenSettings. SelectNotificationsand thenAmazon Shopping. Here, you can adjust your notification settings as you see fit.
If you don’t mind Alexa giving you notifications but don’t want other household members to know what you’ve ordered or returned, then, underSay or show item titles, turn offFor items in delivery updatesandFor items in return updates. You can also turn off titles just for items marked as gifts here, which might be a good idea around the holiday season.
To turn off notifications entirely, scroll down toDelivery Notificationsand turn offOut for deliveryandDelivered. You’ll also want to turn offReturnsandOrder Updatesjust underneath this section.
If you wish, you can also turn offDeal recommendationsandReorder recommendationsbelow, which will prevent Alexa from suggesting items for you to purchase. Finally, tap theback arrowto save your preferences.

Turn Off Order Notifications on the Amazon Website
If you don’t have access to the Alexa app, you can use theAlexa web appand follow the instructions above to turn off Alexa order notifications. However, you can also use theAmazon websiteif you prefer.
First, log in with your Amazon account, then hover overAccount & Listsin the top right corner and selectYour Account. UnderEmail alerts, messages, ads, and cookies, chooseAlexa shopping notifications. Here, you’ll see the same options as above.
UnderSay or show item titles, turn off thetogglesnext toFor items in delivery updates,For items in return updates, andItems in your basket markets as gifts.
Then, turn off eachtoggleunderDelivery Notifications,Returns, andOrder Updates. You can also turn offDeal recommendationsandReorder recommendationsif you like.
Once you’re done, scroll up and pressYour Accountor theAmazon logoin the top left to save your choices.
