How to Rotate a Video in VLC

If you’ve not already done so, ensure you install the VLC Media Player on your computer fromVideoLAN.

To begin, open the video you want to rotate using the VLC Media Player. Once opened:

This change only affects VLC and not the rotated video. So any video you open with VLC maintains the chosen orientation until you remove it. Thus, the rotation is only temporary, and opening the video with another player doesn’t retain this orientation.
