Google Docs, by default, lets you leave comments on a document, but what you may not know is you can also leave voice comments. Today, we show you how to leave voice comments on Google Docs using the Mote extension. Let’s dive right in!

What Is Mote, and How Can You Install It?
Mote is a Google Chrome extension and Android app that lets you leave audio feedback on documents, emails, and evenbrowse the web with your voice. As a Chrome extension, it is well integrated to work with Google apps, including Google Docs making it possible for you to leave voice comments on your documents.
It also has a free and paid version. Upgrading to Mote’s Unlimited plan extends your recording time to 5 minutes as well as an unlimited number of voice notes for just $59 annually.

After signing in, click theAdd to Chromeicon at the top of the page. This will take you to the Chrome web store and onto the extension. On this page, click theAdd to Chromeicon to the right of your screen. This would bring up anAdd Extensionpop-up. Click this icon and wait for a few seconds for the extension to appear on the top right of the extensions bar.
How to Leave Voice Comments on Google Docs Using Mote
One way you can use Mote is to leave voice comments on Google Docs. To do this, open your desired Google Docs file. Highlight the section you want to work on, right-click and clickComment.
In the comment box that appears on the right side of your screen, you’ll see theMoteicon. Click on the icon to start recording. When you’re done, save the comment and test run.
