How to get a Google Play Store refund
Sometimes, you may go overboard downloading apps and games on your newAndroid tabletand make an accidental purchase. You’ll want a refund if you buy something you regret. Requesting a refund on the Google Play Store is straightforward. This guide shows you how to get a refund if you accidentally purchased an app, subscription, e-book, movie, or TV show.
The easiest way to get a refund from the Google Play Store is on mobile
According to the Google Play Storerefund policy, you can request a refund for apps and in-app purchases within 48 hours of your purchase. E-books, audiobooks, movies, and TV shows can be refunded within seven days if you didn’t download or watch the content.
Refunds are usually processed within one business day but may take up to four business days. Google automatically returns the funds to your payment method. If Google denies your request, or you’re outside the 48-hour window for an application, contact the app developer for a refund.

You won’t receive an automatic refund if you refund a Google Play purchase and buy it later. In this situation, contact Google Play support or the app developer to request a refund.
