There are a number of built-in apps on your Apple Watch just like on the iPhone, iPad and Mac. And if for any reason you want to delete any of them, Apple offers two different options.

How to Delete Pre-Installed Apps on the Apple Watch
As long as you have watchOS 9.4 or later, you can delete these built-in apps directly from your Apple Watch:
To delete any of those apps directly from your Apple Watch, there are two different options. First, press the Digital Crown once from your watch face to show a list of apps. Press and hold the screen until View Options appears. Then chooseEdit Apps. You will go back to the app list. Select thexon the app you want to delete. Finally, chooseDelete Appto confirm. Press the Digital Crown to go back to your Apple Watch face.

Additionally, you can delete any of those built-in appsjust like a third-party title. Just pick the app and swipe left. Select the trash can icon and confirm the app deletion.
When deleting an app on your Apple Watch, the companion version on your iPhone will remain on that device.

Apple notes that if you delete the Heart Rate app from your Apple Watch, you won’t see high heart rate, low heart rate, irregular rhythm, and cardio fitness notifications in the iPhone Health app.
If you ever change your mind and want to reinstall it, there are two ways toadd apps back onto your Apple Watch.

You can also delete an Apple Watch app directly from your iPhone.
Simply choose the app on the iPhone and long-press it. Then selectRemove App. As long as your iPhone and Apple Watch are paired, the app will be removed from both locations.
