First released in February 2023 to a select number of markets, an announcement onSpotify’s Newsroomhas revealed that its pioneering AI DJ is available in 50 countries across the globe. For those waiting to test it out, now might be your chance.
Much like a real DJ, its goal is to play you a selection of songs that you might like. What makes it really interesting, however, is the addition of a human-sounding AI voice that introduces songs and adds commentary to your favorite tunes.

It might remind you of watching a DJ play live or listening to a host on a radio show. The key difference is that this DJ isn’t human; it’s completely powered by AI.
At the time of writing, as this feature is still in beta, the rollout does remain limited. Most notably, it won’t be available to those living in Europe, with the exception of Switzerland.
