If the leaks are true, players may be looking at two new promising characters in the game.
Yunli is a 5-star Physical character who follows the Path of the Destruction. As such, she is expected to have great means of sustaining herself in battle with a large HP pool and great damage output. According toYunli’s leaked kit inHonkai: Star Rail2.4,the character will be a specialist in dealing damage via counterattacks. The whole gist of her rotation is having enemies attack her so that she can activate her follow-up counterattack and deal massive yet deadly blows to opponents.
Yunli may become a main DPS for follow-up attack teams, ending Dr. Ratio’s sole reign on that title.
Jiaoqiu, on the other hand, has been confirmed to be a 5-star Fire character who follows the Path of the Nihility. Like many other characters that follow this Path, Jiaoqiu is expected to consistently apply debuffs to his enemies, as suggested by the rumors. However, he will operate a bit differently. According toJiaoqiu’s leaked kit inHonkai: Star Rail2.4, the Fire character will increase the damage that enemies receive. Furthermore,Jiaoqiu is rumored to boost Ultimate DMG, meaning he may become the best sub-DPS and support unit in teams led by Acheron, for instance.
March 7th’s new form will see the classic character don a new red Xianzhou-styled outfit and change her combat tactics drastically. The 4-star character will still retain her rarity but will deal Imaginary DMG with her dual blades while she follows the Path of the Hunt. As such,March 7th is expected to take on a damage-dealing role, though it is uncertain if she will excel as a main DPS or a sub-DPS since she is rumored to have a supporting mechanic. It is unknown exactly how March 7th’s new form will be made available in the game.

Huohuo is the best healer in the game and healers are some of the most important units in every team comp. Contrary to that, Black Swan is a great sub-DPS for Nihility teams. While she can work alongside Acheron, for example, she is the best character to use in a Kafka-led team.
