Rockstar Games is ushering in the Lunar New Year inGTA Onlinewith a multitude of festive events and bonuses. The Year of the Snake celebration will run until February 12, leaving gamers plenty of time to participate in the event.
As announced ina post on their website,Rockstar Games' Lunar New Year event will see exclusive gifts, a brand-new collectible, and other discounts that will run through the whole festive period. A huge bonus from the event is the double money and RP available throughNightclub activities, which is an easy way to build up some GTA$. Race enthusiasts will also receive double money and RP for participating in a select few stunt races, and many other rewards will be available in the last Lunar New Year beforeGTA VI’s arrival later this year.

To commemorate the Year of the Snake,GTA Onlinehas introduced three new Lunar New Year Stunt Races which will run as the Featured Series in Legion Square until February 12.The Stunt Racesuse the nitrous boost system, with festive fireworks and lanterns utilized for some beautiful scenery. The Lunar New Year Stunt Races will award participants with double money and RP, along with an exclusive livery for the excellentPenumbra FF(discounted by 30% on the Southern San Andreas Super Autos webpage).
As a bonus for the Lunar New Year Stunt Races inGTA Online,the current weekly challenge is towin two stunt racesin a multiplayer lobby. While this doesn’t have to specifically be the three new maps, players will be able to find public lobbies incredibly easily as they are in the current Featured Series.As with all weekly challenges,$100,000 in-game currencywill be instantly provided if the challenge is complete.
