A new character buff for Xilonen inGenshin Impact5.1 has leaked and now I’m even more excited about her release. Xilonen is the next playable character arriving for HoYoverse’s popular action RPG. The character has not appeared in the game so far and has only been mentioned by name as one ofMavuika’s heroes inGenshin Impact. Her design has already been revealed in the Natlan teasers and, with the upcoming release, the developer has shown the character’s splash art, confirming that Xilonen is, indeed, a Geo character. Other than that, not much has been officially revealed.
However, there have been several leaks about Xilonen so far, indicating her weapon type, rarity, abilities, and, of course, role in team comps. So far, rumors show that Xilonen will be a 5-star unit and that she will use a sword in combat. The otherXilonen leaks inGenshin Impacthighlight that she will operate as a support character in team comps, being capable of inflicting RES shred on opponents, thus making them more susceptible to incoming damage. Furthermore, she may even heal her allies. Now, new leaks about Xilonen show what seems like a significant buff to her kit.

Rumors Indicate She Will Have Increased Interruption RES
The character is being buffed during the beta tests, as hinted at by information provided by the leaker known as HomDGCat, which was posted onReddit. According to the leak,Xilonen will be released with an Interruption RES buff, allowing her to continue using her abilities while being attacked by enemies. The leak shows that, during her Nightsoul’s Blessing state, Xilonen will get an extra Interruption RES of coefficient 0.5 at C0 (Constellation level 0), which stacks with her added 0.25 Interruption RES from her leaked C1 inGenshin Impact5.1 and beyond.
Rumors say that the 0.25 Interruption RES of her C1 is applied to the entire team rather than only herself.
Effectively,this extra Interruption RES would allow her to not stagger upon being hit by most attacksand, in turn, permit her to use her abilities while being attacked. This is particularly helpful because support characters often rotate in and out of the active spot quickly. As such, having her use her Skill to allegedly inflict RES shred on opponents and her Elemental Burst to deal damage and possibly heal allies, only to quickly be swapped out for her main DPS to come in is extremely vital. This makes for a more seamless gameplay rotation with Xilonen inGenshin Impact.

Players may be given the chance to claim hundreds of free Primogems in Genshin Impact 5.1, but some Travelers may be left out of the rewards.
This does not mean that Xilonen will not be staggered by all attacks and she could have her abilities interrupted depending on the move used by the opponent. However, it gives her a better chance to quickly drop in, use her debuffs on enemies, and then be swapped out, even if the main DPS is the one to be interrupted during their offensive cycle.If she were to be easily interrupted, then she could lose the usage of her Skill and Burst, for example, and have to wait for their cooldowns and Energy Regeneration inGenshin Impact, for example.

This leaked quality-of-life (QoL) buff to Xilonen seems important, especially considering mistakes that HoYoverse has committed in the past.During Zhongli’s release, for example, the character was extremely susceptible to being interrupted while casting his Jade Shieldvia his Elemental Skill. This often resulted in awful moments, where players rotated him in to cast the shield, failed at doing so, took damage, and had to wait for his Skill’s cooldown to occur again. A temporary solution to this was to distance ourselves from combat, use the shield, and then return, but that was a particularly terrible strategy inGenshin Impact.
After his release, which was met with incredibly negative criticism, his entire kit was buffed, from the amount of protection his shields offered to the newly added Interruption Immunity during the casting of the Jade Shield. This made Zhongli much more playable and, as such, he remains the best shielder in the game.For a support character, being immune or at least highly resistant to Interruption is vital, and the leaks about Xilonen’s buff seem to show that HoYoverse is aware of that, even if the first versions of her gameplay kit did not contain such a necessary stat.
Genshin Impact 5.3 Leaks Say Mavuika Is Finally Breaking A Four-Year Trend
The first leaks about Mavuika’s skills in Genshin Impact 5.3 have emerged and she may finally end a character’s four-year reign in a team comp role.
Even though the exact support Xilonen offers is rumored to be different than that of Zhongli’s, the way they are played seems to be very similar, so the leaked Interruption RES sounds incredibly useful. The leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, as they may be incorrect or subject to change, but the already exciting character seems to be even better with the new leaked buff. I already planned on pulling for her in banners, but now I’m sure I need to start farmingXilonen’s materials inGenshin Impact, so I can have her fully Ascended upon release.
