TheEufy Omni S1 Prois the best robot mop I have ever experienced, and I’ve tested quite a few over the years. It has far outpaced any other robot vacuum I have ever had and obliterates all other robot mops, even previous Eufy models.

Eufy Omni S1 Pro

The Eufy Omni S1 Pro floor washing robot vacuum is designed to simplify home cleaning with its impressive dual functionality and 10-in-1 base station. Its futuristic design, intelligent navigation, self-cleaning, and powerful suction prove that this is easily one of the top contenders for vacuum mops right now.

Price and Availability

The Eufy Omni S1 Pro started on Kickstarter but has recently been fully launched and is sold on Eufy’s website and Amazon. The bot, along with the charging base and all its power, is currently priced at $1499, with no current deals being shown. While there are no discount codes right now, Eufy does offer payment plans through Affirm that are as low as $136/month if needed.

Preparing For Launch

The box for the Eufy Omni S1 Pro was huge—much larger than I thought—but it is an impressive all-in-one base. It’s worth mentioning that Eufy has explicitly ten functions for the base station, but more on that later. The packaging was clear and durable, keeping the contents safe and secure. Upon unboxing, I was greeted by the futuristic design of the robot vacuum, the base station, some accessories, and documentation.

Futuristic, Minimalistic, Beautiful

Most robot vacuums look the same; a round bot with a sensor poking out of the top like a cockpit on a plane. In short, it was boring, overdone, and expected. Eufy chose to go their own route with the Omni S1 Pro. It’s not round but square with rounded edges (or a squared-off circle, if you must), and it does not have a protrusion from the top of the device.

This design is sleek and modern, with a focus on minimalistic beauty. This design language does not stop with the robot vacuum/mop itself but also translates to the base station. While these are sleek, clean, modern, and cool looking, they are also robust and durable.

The setup process was straightforward after connecting everything to the Eufy Clean app (available forAndroidandiPhone). I removed some padding used for shipping, connected the base tray to the station, turned on the main power switch for the mop/vacuum, checked the dust bag, added the cleaning solution (which was a brilliant approach compared to adding the solution directly to the water tank), attached the dirty water tank, filled the clean water tank, and then initiated the mapping process for the unit.

This process was fast; unlike other cleaning robots that have to cover every inch (or nearly every inch) of your home to map, the Omni S1 Pro booked it through the main floor of my house in a matter of minutes. It avoided toys, furniture, and children while mapping every nook and cranny. After this mapping, I refined room markers, specifically noting where the living room ends, where the kitchen begins, where the hallway meets the entry, and so on. It did a pretty good job, but I wanted to refine it so that when I clean only certain rooms, I know where to beg my kids to stop dropping crumbs for at least 20 minutes.

Making Cleaning a Forgotten Chore

As I mentioned, the all-in-one base station and the refined elements of the robot make this mop/vacuum hybrid a dream. Eufy refers to the dock as the 10-in-1 UniClean station. In one tower, it can auto empty, wash, refill, and air dry with heat; it has an Eco-Clean Ozone feature, wastewater collection, mopping detergent dispensing, an LCD Touch screen control, a dust bag, and quick charging.

Beyond the features of the best all-in-one charging base I have ever tried, the robot mop and vacuum are the most impressive robots I have set free in my home. Some standout features include the rolling mop feature that continuously cleans itself, the precision corner-to-edge cleaning feature, the 3D MatrixEye Obstacle avoidance, and the 8,000Pa Potent suction.

That’s a lot of stats, but how that translates to day-to-day use is that I have used this thing daily to clean everything from a spill in the kitchen to my entire home. I have not needed to pull out my other mop or vacuum since day one of having the S1 Pro. In fact, I got rid of my standalone vacuum entirely because I hate clutter, and I have only used a hand vac for some crumbs on a counter, though I could have swept those to the floor and had the Omni S1 Pro grab it.

I’ve refilled the water many times but have not replaced the cleaning solution or the waste bag. This fantastic addition to my home cleaning routine allowed me to set it and forget it. I trust that it will avoid obstacles, easily slide under my furniture, and keep my house clean without much effort. All I have to do is click around on the Eufy Clean app.

Should You Buy the Eufy Omni S1 Pro?

The Eufy Omni S1 Pro has given me back the time I would spend vacuuming or mopping so I can spend on the more important things in my life. If you are looking for a fantastic all-around vacuum/mop and you have a decent amount of hard floors or space you need to mop, there is no better option on the market right now.

The only cons to this vacuum are that because this is a self-cleaning unit, I’ve gotten semi-regular notifications to clean some filters in the robot, which takes a few seconds every time. Additionally, pulling the mop out to be cleaned is slightly annoying, though not impossible by any means.
