Robot vacuums keep your floors free of dirt, dust, and pretty much anything else. But theEufy 3-in-1 E20takes that power to a new level, adding a high-power canister and stick vacuum. It’s a near-perfect cleaning companion with a reasonable price and great features.

Eufy 3-in-1 E20

The Eufy 3-in-1 E20 Vac is more than just a robot vacuum. The system can also transform into a cordless canister vacuum and floor vac with included components. While the robot vacuum features 8,000Pa of suction power, the other components can provide a strong 30,000Pa of suction. All of the dirt from each part can automatically empty into the base station bag that can hold up to 75 days of debris. The robot vacuum can work for 3 hours on a single charge and completely recharge in 2.5 hours.

Price and Availability

The Eufy 3-in-1 E20 will officially arrive and be available on July 04, 2025. It retails for $549.99 and can be pre-ordered now from Eufy.

Unboxing the Eufy 3-in-1 E20 Vac

Getting set up with the Eufy 3-in-1 E20 is simple and quick. Since the system doesn’t offer mopping capability, the robot and base station are much smaller than other combos I’ve reviewed. That’s great news, especially if you live in a smaller home or apartment. I could easily tuck everything in a smaller corner to get started.

You’ll remove the vacuum from the box and then plug in the base station. Eufy also includes a plastic runway to help the robot easily orient itself onto the charging dock if you have carpet.

Since this is a unique combo, there are also a number of other accessories you’ll need to unpack. First is the stick vacuum attachment that contains a brush that you can slide across a floor or carpet. Additionally, there is a crevice tool and larger brush attachment for use in the handheld mode.

One of my small disappointments is that there is no provided way to store the attachments when not in use. The good news is that the crevice tool is actually stored inside the robot vacuum. But you’ll need somewhere to put the stick vacuum and brush attachment. At least for me, not being able to store them with the robot vacuum and base could make them easier to misplace.

After removing all the packing material, which takes just a few minutes, you will need to download the Eufy Clean app for iPhone or Android to finish the setup.

Using the Robot Vacuum

Before you’re able to get started, you’ll need to do a quick mapping session using the app. Instead of running the vacuum, the E20 will just traverse around your house and create a map that you can use for better cleaning later. In my 1,700-square-foot house, the process took around 15 minutes. Just ensure to do a bit of cleaning and pick up large objects or other things on the floor.

At the end, you can see a comprehensive map of your home. It will automatically create different rooms, but you’ll likely do some work editing the app with rooms that make sense for you. If you want to use the vacuum in a multi-story house, the app also allows you to create multiple maps.

Once that’s complete, you may start using the robot to clean. Along with cleaning your entire home, I really enjoy getting to clean on a room-by-room basis. That allows me to concentrate on a frequently messy part of my room—the kitchen. When selecting a room, you can choose the level of suction and how many passes. You can also customize a small or large area for the vacuum to clean.

Eufy advertises up to 180 minutes of use on a single charge, but that’s dependent on the suction level you choose. I usually go for the highest possible level, and the robot needs to return to its docking station in around 75 minutes of use. It can completely recharge from 0 to 100% in 80 minutes.

Vacuuming was mostly a positive experience. The robot provides up to 8,000Pa of suction power, a nice amount, but lower than other high-end models like theDreame X40 I’ve previously reviewed. I have hardwood floors in my entire house, so I never noticed that the E20 didn’t pick up anything that it should have. But if you have an entire house full of carpet, you might consider a vacuum with a higher suction level to suck out everything possible.

When testing robot vacuums, I usually don’t purposefully create messes. With two teenagers and a pair of hungry beagles who love to get into food trouble, my floors pile up with dirt, dust, dog hair, and pretty much everything after a few days. An additional brush near the edge of the vacuum helps capture dirt and put it in the path of suction.

The E20 did a great job handling all the dry messes—from large objects like dog food and leaves to smaller debris like dirt and dust.

Another important part of a robot vacuum is obstacle avoidance. There’s no camera system, but Eufy uses lasers to detect obstacles. The good news is that, unlike some camera-based systems, you don’t need to keep lights turned on for the vacuum to see better.

Obstacle avoidance was good but not as strong as I’ve seen on more expensive systems. At times, it got tangled up occasionally on a smaller, single charging cord. It also had a bit of a problem with a small blanket that always seemed to end up on my floor.

With the app, you can further customize the experience. One of the best options is the ability to set a schedule, where you can choose to clean the whole home or just a room at a set time and even customize the mode. Another notable setting includes BoostIQ, which will increase suction power when a carpet is detected. That’s something you should definitely enable to clean the carpets as cleanly as possible. The only downside is that it will decrease battery life.

You can also change auto-empty timing for the robot and even control it manually with an on-screen d-pad. Though I don’t know why you would want to.

I was a bit disappointed that the app didn’t offer the same Scenarios feature available in theEufy X10 Pro Omni that I previously reviewed. With that model, you can set a custom Scenario. Similar to a Shortcut, it can run a preset cleaning routine in a specific area with just a single tap.

A Cordless Floor Vac Offers More Power

While the robot vacuum provides a normal experience, the real unique part of the E20 is when it transforms into a manual cleaning machine. To begin, you’ll press the red button on the robot to dislodge the canister.

After that, you may attach it to the top of the cordless floor vac. You can turn it on with a long press of the well-placed button on the handle. A quick press will turn up or down the suction levels. As a nice touch, a small LED lightbar will show you the current suction level. That also doubles as a lightbar to help you see the current robot vacuum charge status.

Most robot vacuums, including the E20, are great to clean in areas you can see. But then there are areas of your home that the robot can’t reach, like under the bed, couch, or anywhere else. That’s where the floor vacuum attachment comes in.

Unlike the robot, you may tap up to 30,000Pa of suction in this mode. And I could definitely tell the increase in power. After the robot cleaned, I scanned my house looking for possibly dirty areas with the floor attachment. I used it to vacuum under my couches, bed, and in other small and out-of-the-way spots. I was truly surprised with how much the floor attachment captured. The increased suction and rolling brush worked wonders on larger debris and something that always seems to appear magically on my floor, piles of dog hair.

My only complaint about using the floor attachment is that it won’t stand upright by itself. It’s so top-heavy with the vacuum that it will fall down and hit the floor unless you prop it up against a wall or cabinet. It took me a few times to figure out that issue, so beware.

The Canister Vac Goes Anywhere

The canister vac option works in a similar manner. Just remove it from the robot dock. You’ll then choose from one of the two provided attachments. The crevice tool did a nice job, but I mostly used the larger attachment. You can use it with or without a brush.

Just like with the floor vac, the canister tackled places the robot can’t go. Whether it was furniture, blinds, or something else, I captured dirt in out-of-the-way places. I also enjoyed using the vacuum outside the home to vacuum my cars. Even though I don’t have any stairs in my home, I suspect you could easily clean them from top to bottom in just a few minutes.

As a plus, after just 10 minutes of use in canister or floor vacuum mode, the E20 will automatically empty the dust bin when placed back in the dock.

Emptying the vacuum in all three modes highlighted an interesting issue. The wireless charging contacts are on the opposite side of the vacuum where you can find the canister and dust bin. So it needs to turn around to empty it into the dust bag in the dock. There were two occasions when the robot didn’t correctly line up with the charging pins after emptying and didn’t charge.

Should You Buy the Eufy 3-in-1 E20?

My house has truly never been cleaner with theEufy 3-in-1 E20system. I’ve tested out a number of robot vacuums, but the ability to transform into a canister and stick vacuum has allowed me to go where the robot has never been able to reach.

Each part of the cordless system is almost perfect. It’s easy to transform and use by anyone in the household. And you’ll not need to worry about handling all the dust and dirt when it is sucked up into the base’s bag. The few quirks are minor and don’t spoil the overall package.

With a retail price of $549.99, it should be at the very top of your list if you’re just looking for a robot vacuum. You’ll be able to keep every part of your home clean, not just the floor.
