An incredibly detailedBaldur’s Gate 3cosplay has perfectly captured Shadowheart’s Dark Justiciar transformation in the game. After years in Early Access on PC, Larian’s RPG was released last year to incredibly high critical acclaim, going on to win many Game of the Year awards and even making its way ontoScreen Rant’s “Best Games of All Time” listand one of the reasons it was so acclaimed was for its well-written storytelling and a wealth of different outcomes that can keep players revisiting the games for hundreds of hours to see just how differently things could go each playthrough.

Frau_Haku is well known within theBaldur’s Gatecosplaying circuit, having already cosplayed the Githyanki warrior, Lae’zel.
Shar’s Spear of Evening is a Legendary spear that is rewarded to Shadowheart upon completing her quest with Lady Shar.
Complimenting the incredibly detailed armor is a glowing recreation of the Mysterious Artefact, a powerful gith device that Shadowheart initially carries in the game, having been sent by her superiors on a mission to retrieve it and return it to Baldur’s Gate.
If Shadowheart is dead or has not been recruited when the party approaches the Goblin Camp for the first time in Chapter One, the Mysterious Artefact teleports itself into a party member’s inventory in order to protect the party from the Absolute’s influence during the triggered cutscene that follows.

The Dark Justiciar Armor Plays A Major Part In Shadowheart’s Destiny
Fulfilling The High Half-Elf’s Lifelong Dream
AsBaldur’s Gate 3continues into Act 2,players face a pivotal decision regarding Shadowheart’s destiny. When spending time with Shadowheart, she expresses that she has a lifelong dream ofbecoming a Dark Justiciarfor the goddess Shar and must choose between this and renouncing her faith to follow Selûne.
Shadowheart’s Dark Justiciar gear can be found within the Library of Silence in the Gauntlet of Shar, and the High Half-Elf’s goal of becoming one of Shar’s most elite warriors can be achieved bydefeating Nightsong and fully embracing Darkness. This choice affects Shadowheart’s destiny and heavily impacts the story’s narrative with irreversible consequences. Still, it’s worth noting that once she has become an Ascended Dark Justicar, Shadowheart is easily one of the most overpowered characters in the game.
Frau_Haku’s recreation of not only Shadowheart’s Dark Justiciar armor but also the character’s weapons and the Mysterious Artefact makes for an extremely impressive cosplay. Within the first day of its upload, it has already received high praise fromBaldur’s Gate 3fans for its authenticity and attention to detail, and deservedly so.
