Here’s everything you need to know about all the Jedi starships and starfighters inStar Wars. The galaxy is a vast one, and the Jedi Order - tasked with keeping the peace - need to travel across the entireStar Warsgalaxy map. While some Jedi are based in the Core Worlds, with the Council tending to concentrate on affairs on Coruscant, others could wind up active on the Outer Rim - especially during the Clone Wars, when conflict raged across those territories in particular.
The Jedi Order actually maintains a fleet of ships, some constructed specifically for the Jedi and others claimed when they raided smugglers or pirates; it seems the Jedi have the right to retain any vessel they “liberate” from criminals. Here’s everything you need to know about all the confirmed Jedi vessels, from theHigh Republic Erato Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Order. It only includes vessels confirmed to be Jedi, not Republic ships or craft they temporarily requisitioned.

An ancient Paladin-class corvette specially constructed for the Jedi Order centuries ago,the Crucible was used to ferry Younglings from their Jedi Temples to the sacred planet IIum. There, they would participate in the Gathering, a ritualistic quest in which they sought kyber crystals for their liightsabers. The Crucible was typically manned by the droid Huyang, and contained a workshop and training room for lightsaber construction and training. The ship was sadly destroyed during the Clone Wars.

The Crucible appears to have been restored byStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, because it can be seen among the ships in the Galactic Fleet.

GX1 short haulers are essentially models of shuttles, commonly used during the waning days of the Republic and the dawn of the Empire. The Intrepid Heart served as the personal transport of an unknown Jedi Master who scoured the galaxy seeking Sith artifacts. It was lost in space, but there’s some evidence it may have crashed on the Mid Rim ice planet of Naator.

The image above is of a similar GX1 hauler, as there are no images of the Intrepid Heart.
The Permondiri Explorer
Little is known of the survey craft known as the Permondiri Explorer in canon. In Legends, it was a survey vessel lost after it traveled to investigate a newly discovered star system, and it became a legend among spacers after many failed attempts to find it. Canon factbooks have identified the Permondiri Explorer as a Jedi ship, and an ancient navigational databank found its way to Dryden Vos, leader of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate.
Starships & Starfighters of the High Republic Era
The Ataraxia
The flagship of the Jedi fleet during the High Republic Era, the Ataraxia was first commissioned in 232 BBY and appears to have served the Jedi for at least two centuries. The Ataraxia was large enough to carry large groups of Jedi, and contained complements of Jedi Vectors and T-6 shuttles; it could essentially act as a mobile base of operations for Jedi on missions far from any major temples. The Ataraxia’s final fate is unknown, but it hasn’t yet been seen during the prequel era.
The Cantaros
A VKCE-7100x Starcutter, the Cantaros was owned by Jedi MasterVernestra Rwohat the tail-end of the High Republic Era. It was named after Vernestra’s former Padawan, Imri Cantaros, and was used to transport a Jedi team to Khofar and Brendok inThe Acolyte. The Cantaros is confirmed to have been an experimental design, andit seems to have been designed to transport larger teams on sensitive missions across the galaxy.
The Eventide
Few descriptions have been given of the Eventide, originally a vessel associated with the prestigious Greylark family during the High Republic Era. Supreme Chancellor Kyong Greylark donated the Eventide to the Jedi Order after her son Axel was implicated in anti-Jedi activities. It would continue to be used by the Jedi for some time.
The Fraunesaa
A hauler seized from the Hutts during the High Republic Era, the Fraunesaa was part of a fleet of ships that operated from the Jedi Starlight Beacon, a space station in the Outer Rim. The Fraunesaa was an old, cube-shaped vessel, and it was used at least once for ferrying Jedi back from Starlight Beacon to Coruscant to report to theJedi Council. The Fraunesaa was briefly diverted on this journey, helping defend the planet Tiikae from an attack by space pirates called the Nihil.
Jedi High Council Cruiser
During the High Republic Era, the Jedi Council possessed a dedicated cruiser to transport them - or their representatives - across the galaxy should they be required. It was used to take two Council members to the planet Dalna to investigate a crisis there. The ultimate fate of this cruiser is unknown, but it clearly didn’t exist anymore by the time of the prequels.

Laser cannons
The signature starfighters of the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era, Jedi Vectors were custom-built for Force-sensitives; they were incredibly maneuverable, designed so only someone sensitive to the Force could really use them. Vectors were also notable for the unusual locks on their weapons systems, which required a lightsaber to act as a key, reminding any Jedi of the significance of taking lives. Vectors were still in service by the time ofThe Acolyte.

The Lazuli
An ill-fated starship used by Jedi Master Creighton Sun and Jedi Knight Aida Forte in the High Republic Era, the Lazuli took the Jedi to the planet Dalna on a mission that would see them encounter Force predators known as the Nameless. The Lazuli was shot down by the cult known as the Path of the Open Hand. It crashed into the center of their compound.
Leebon’s shuttle
Jedi Master Leebon owned a personal shuttle during the High Republic Era, and ownership was transferred to Jedi Master Vildar Mac after her death during the Battle of Jedha. Vildar Mac was wary of using it on unsanctioned missions, concerned its presence would denote official Jedi business and intimidate the cult known as the Path of the Open Hand. Its fate is unknown.
The Lightseeker
An unusual pyramidal starship, the Lightseeker was purched by Jedi Master Orla Jareni. A Wayseeker, Orla traveled the galaxy with little connection to the Jedi Order, trusting the will of the Force rather than the mandates of the Council. Orla died during the destruction of the Jedi Order’s Starlight Beacon, and the Lightseeker’s ownership after that is unknown.
Polan 717 Jedi Transport
The Polan 717s were shuttles used by the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era,jokingly referred to as caravans for the Jedi- mobile bases for small groups of up to a dozen Jedi as they explore the galaxy. Each Polan has a detachable hyperspace drive, which is left in orbit around the survey planet, as well as an escape ship that may well serve as a defensive starfighter as well. Master Sol used a Polan with the designation GX-8 duringThe Acolyte.
Radiant Blessing
The Radiant Blessing was another starship used by the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era. It’s only been seen once, in Justiina Ireland’sA Test of Courage, when the ship rescued a stranded part of Jedi from the moon Wevo. There’s no real information about this ship’s capabilities or design.

The Star Hopper was one of the more important Jedi vessels during the High Republic Era, whereit frequently served as a Padawan Academic Cruiser under the leadership ofGrandmaster Yodahimself. It’s not designed for warfare, but rather simply for travel and training, although it does have limited defensive capabilities. It contains everything a group of up to 18 Jedi would need to travel the galaxy training Younglings and Padawans.
Star Seeker
Young Jedi Adventuresrevealed the Jedi frequently sent droid explorers out into the Outer Rim to explore the galaxy, an approach that makes sense given a droid can travel in space for vast periods of time without needing planetary stops. One such droid was 0G-LC, a particularly brave adventurer who used a starship called the Star Seeker. This vessel became briefly stranded on the planet Fobaris.

Wishful Thinking
Jedi of the High Republic Eera often used T-1 shuttles, perfect for transporting small teams across the galaxy; the bridges had seating for four. They were frequently seen during the Eiram-E’ronoh crisis, roughly 382 BBY. The Rebel Alliance would later repurpose several old T-1 shuttles.
Varonchagger
A starship used by Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh and Padawan Lula Talisola during the High Republic. Vernestra developed a bad reputation for crash-landing ships, and the Varonchagger fared no more fortunately than other vessels she flew. Vern crashed it on a beach near Lonisa City, the capital of the planet Valo.
The Voyager Dawn
The Voyager Dawn was a medium-sized cruiser that served the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era.It served as a meditative retreat for the Jedi, and could carry hundreds of passengers at a time; some Jedi grew to consider the Voyager Dawn their home. It took significant damage during a hyperspace disaster 200 years beforeStar Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace.

Turbolasers
A Pelta-class frigate that served the Jedi during the prequel era, the Athylia was used byJedi Master Kelleran Beqas he traveled the galaxy training Younglings. Pelta-class frigates were highly customizable, with some serving as medical frigates during the Clone Wars, and it’s likely Kelleran Beq modified his purely to focus on training. Like all these frigates, the Athylia will have been equipped with powerful deflector shields; it was armed with turbolasers, unusual for this time period.

Eta-class shuttles were introduced shortly before the Clone Wars, originally intended as diplomatic vessels, andthey were pressed into service by both the Grand Army and the Jedi Order. Jedi Shuttle 634 was one example, used by Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Ahsoka Tano when they investigated the mysterious planet Mortis. Eta-class shuttles could comfortably carry up to ten passengers.

Westwind
The most famous Jedi shuttles of the Clone Wars era,the T-6 are well known for their rotating engine block and cockpit. T-6 shuttles traditionally served as ambassadorial craft, and thus lacked weaponry, although Ahsoka Tano modified her T-6 with a rear gun pod during the New Republic Era. Given both the T-1 and T-6 are Jedi shuttles, it’s reasonable to assume there are similar designations between 2 and 5.
The Truthseeker
A Jedi shuttle that belonged to Jedi Master Lene Kostana during the tail-end of the Old Republic, the Truthseeker was used to scout the galaxy for Sith artifacts. It was eventually destroyed on a mission over Serenno, the homeworld of Count Dooku. Its escape pods were jammed, and the Jedi aboard had to jettison its cockpit.

Three heavy blasters, one rotating blaster cannon, and a concussion missile launcher
A Corellian G9 Rigger-class light freighter, the Twilight was acquired by Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars after it was confiscated from the Hutts. Anakin enjoyed using this vessel because it didn’t look like a traditional Jedi or Republic ship, allowing him a degree of flexibility;he’d actually deactivated the ship’s transponder, meaning the Twilight couldn’t be identified. It’s likely this was often used in secret rendezvous between Anakin and Padmé Amidala.
Starships & Starfighters used by Luke Skywalker’s Jedi Order
The Grimtaash
The Grimtaash is an ancient Alderaanian legend of a supernatural being that protects the Royal Family from betrayal and treachery. During the New Republic Era, Ben Solo named his starship after this legend, andhe left the ruins of the Jedi Temple on Tython in it after he betrayed the Order. The Grimtaash’s final fate is unknown.
The Verity
A starship used by Luke Skywalker after he re-established the Jedi Order. Although the Verity’s class has never been officially confirmed, writer Charles Soule and artist Will Sliney privately called it a T-Wing. It was claimed by Jedi survivors after Ben Solo destroyed the Jedi Temple on Tython, and the three Jedi pursued Ben. It met a sad fate, as did many Jedi vessels inStar Warshistory.
