13 Great Prompt Ideas for AI Font Generation in Adobe Firefly
Adobe introduced Adobe Firefly in March 2023. The latest AI tool includes a small handful of AI features, including the AI Text Effects feature. Using this feature, you could take almost anything your imagination can think of and turn it into a 3D-style text.
While having your entire imagination to come up with ideas may seem incredible, sometimes it’s better to have a list of prompts to bounce off. Here are 13 great prompt ideas for AI font generation using Adobe Firefly.

How to Use Adobe Firefly’s AI Text Effects Generator
Adobe Firefly was announced in March 2023, but if you want to use it, you must have an Adobe account to sign up for the Firefly Beta. Once signed up, Adobe will e-mail you a link toaccess Adobe Firefly, including the AI Text Effects tool.
You’ll see a few options, includinga cool Recolor Vectors tool. We’ve written a guide forhow to use Adobe Firefly’s AI vector recoloring tool. Scroll to find theText Effectsoption and selectGenerateto open the Text Effects tool page.

You’ll see some large examples of AI text effects, and at the bottom is a text box split into two. On the left, you can type the text you wish to apply the effect to—we’re going to write “MakeUseOf” for all our examples—and the larger part of the text box is where you can write your descriptive prompt before selectingGenerateto realize your imagination.
Once you’ve generated a text effect you like, hover your cursor over it and select theDownloadicon orOptions > Copy to Clipboard, so you can paste your text directly into Photoshop. Let’s jump into some great prompts you can try.
